Beta Mu Chapter

The George Washington University

A Letter from our President...

Leah Pettersson, Beta Mu Chapter 2019

On behalf of the Beta Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, I am pleased to welcome you to our website. As you’ll

soon see, there’s a lot to learn about our organization.

I will begin by sharing our tagline with you: “Shaping People, Shaping Business.” As the world’s oldest and

largest co-ed professional business fraternity, everything we do is in pursuit of this goal. My name is Leah

Pettersson, and I am the President of the Beta Mu chapter here at the George Washington University. Having

been a part of this organisation for two years now, I can vouch for the fraternity as a truly unique student

organization. Joining Beta Mu was and still is by far the best decision I have made in my college career.

Alpha Kappa Psi is devoted to the ideals of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity. All our

actions, whether they be in the professional or social sphere, are guided by these ideals. This foundation allows

us to further our understanding of the world of business. We actively seek out challenges that push us to our

limits in order to grow personally and professionally. Our chapter has struck the perfect balance between these

two areas, and that balance is what has allowed us to become the premier business fraternity in the George

Washington University community.

Hailing from all corners of the globe, Alpha Kappa Psi Brothers are united by the common goal of learning and

developing into the business and social leaders of tomorrow.  With some of the most genuine and ambitious

people I have ever met, our potential is limitless.

So please, take this opportunity to explore what our chapter has to offer. You may be the next in the line of

thousands of Brothers who have realized their potential through Alpha Kappa Psi.
